- Manage day-to-day robotic MIG welding production in automotive weld shop.
- Hands-on experience with Yaskawa MOTOMAN and Panasonic welding robots .
- Robot teaching, programming, job editing and weld-path optimization .
- Teach and optimize circular/continuous welds , weld points and welding sequences.
- Monitor Production, Quality, Productivity, OEE and Delivery targets.
- Troubleshoot robot, welding torch, wire-feeding and welding-process issues.
- Handle welding fixtures, fixture validation and poka-yoke .
- Reduce weld defects, rework and rejection through root-cause analysis.
- Support cycle-time reduction and Kaizen/continuous improvement .
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
- Train operators on robot operation, teaching procedures and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain production/process documentation and ensure 5S and safety on the shop floor. These responsibilities closely match current automotive weld-shop vacancies requiring 4–8 years of experience and MIG/spot welding, robot teaching/programming, fixture optimization and process improvement.
