Attorneys in this role will have direct client interaction and the opportunity to work on a broad range of business, corporate and banking matters, including commercial transactions, financing, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, creditor rights and general business counseling. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing a variety of business contracts and advising clients on transactional and general business matters. The attorney will represent lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, assist clients with entity formations, corporate restructuring, business succession planning and mergers and acquisitions. The role also involves conducting legal research on business and banking matters, including applicable statutes, case law and regulations, and providing practical legal advice to business clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, research, writing and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively manage multiple matters and deadlines while remaining responsive to client needs. Candidates should be comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues in person, by email and by telephone and should value a collaborative, team-oriented approach to the practice of law. Core Requirements: Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be currently admitted or soon to be admitted to practice in New York State or Pennsylvania. Candidates should have a desire to continue developing their legal skills and building their experience in Business & Banking law.
