Description Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our Jasper, IN team. Meyer Distributing & Logistics are driven to perform – come join our team today! Starting Pay: • $20.00 Schedule:
- Monday- Friday: 7:00 am
- 4:00 pm EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School graduate or equivalent preferred. TRAINING: A minimum of one month of on-the-job training is required. EXPERIENCE: Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift preferred. JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Good computer skills and knowledge of WMS software
- Positive attitude and have ability to be self-motivated
- Ability to give special attention to detail
- Ability to identify letters and numbers
- Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities
- Planning/organizing and follow up skills
- Quality control- the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
- Adaptability- the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- Dependability- the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance

- Locating inventory that is on the warehouse site, but not located in the correct location
- Handle all details associated with inventory transfers
- Perform cycle counts
- Research discrepancies
- Handle research of receiving and invoice issues
