Summary You will serve as a

Supervisory Financial Management Analyst

in the Naval Post Graduate School of

Naval Postgraduate School.

Duties

• You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
• You will participate in the design, implementation, and sustainment of financial and accounting systems and procedures.
• You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
• You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
• You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
• You will prepare and review responses to reviews or audits; e.g., FMB, GAO, DODIG etc. which involve financial management policy and procedure. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing authoritative technical advice, strategic guidance, and policy interpretation to executive-level management and program managers as the principal authority on organization-wide budget, accounting, and financial management operations; 2) Directing and overseeing comprehensive financial analysis, continuous program execution reviews, and systemic variance evaluations of multi-million dollar operating and support programs to optimize organizational efficiency and compliance; 3) Leading the formulation and execution of complex, long-range financial plans and strategic resource-allocation strategies to ensure total alignment with enterprise-level mission objectives; and 4) Directing the utilization of DoD financial, accounting, and travel systems (e.g., Planning, Programming, Budget Estimate System.
