Senior Splunk Platform Engineer Summary We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the management and optimization of our Splunk infrastructure within the IT Services sector. In this pivotal role, the incumbent will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our data analytics platform. The position demands a deep understanding of platform architecture and a proven track record in administering complex Splunk environments. The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives related to system health, capacity planning, and seamless migration efforts, serving as a key technical authority for enterprise-wide data observability and performance. Responsibilities
- Oversee the comprehensive administration of Splunk Enterprise and the broader Splunk platform to maintain operational excellence.
- Design and execute strategies for Indexer Cluster and Search Head Cluster management to ensure high availability and performance.
- Conduct regular platform health assessments and architectural reviews to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead the formulation and execution of detailed scalability and migration plans to support evolving business data needs.
- Manage the lifecycle of Knowledge Objects, ensuring data integrity and efficient organization across the system.
- Implement and maintain robust User & Role Administration protocols to enforce strict security policies and access controls.
- Perform detailed architecture assessments to align the Splunk environment with current and future organizational goals. Requirements Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in IT Services, with a specialized focus on Splunk technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in Splunk Platform Administration and Splunk Enterprise Administration.
- Proven ability to manage Indexer Clusters and administer Search Head Clusters effectively.
- Strong proficiency in Knowledge Object Management and User & Role Administration.
- Extensive experience conducting Platform Health Reviews, Architecture Reviews, and Architecture Assessments.
- Skilled in developing Scalability Planning and Migration Planning strategies for large-scale deployments.
- Competitive salary range of ₹18-22 LPA based on qualifications and experience.
