Application Engineer II

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a Global Industry Sales Engineer to work with our North American Team. This position will manage technical, pricing-related clarification from Sales/LBP in all the world areas. Responsible for meeting the responsiveness target metrics by getting support from Marshalltown GIS (Global Industry Sales), Product Engineer, Severe Service team & Pricing Support team. This position closely works with the respective Marshalltown GIS (Global Industry Sales) team. This role will work independently to support the inside sales network in the MEA and AP world areas. You will be responsible for working with Industry sales team and Product engineers on finalizing solutions for severe service applications in the process industry. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** **1)** Sizing control valves and related accessories using sizing tool 2) Key contact for all technical issues/clarifications related to the LBP/Sales support 3) Understanding the received queries & related information through mails. 4) Analyse received queries from sales & respond accordingly by getting support from relavent team (in M'town) if needed. 5) Shall be capable to support severe/critical service applications for any enquiries with support from Severe Service team. 6) Readiness for Site-walk down activity with support from sales 7) MIB based product selection for quotes/projects 8) Troubleshoot site issues getting support from M'town GIS/Severe Service team & handling the FF2 deals related queries 9) Maintain the record of work done. **Who You Are:** You quickly and significantly take action in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You handle the risk that comes with moving forward when the outcome is not certain. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Minimum 3-year experience of any Engineering background. + Knowledge of all Fisher products and accessories. + Understanding of product specifications and Incoterms. + Adequate knowledge of sizing control valves for industry specific applications + Basic knowledge of Inactive/obsolete/Competitor products. + Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering. + Basic understanding of MS word, excel and power point. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills **Our Culture & Commitment to You** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
