- You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST(EKMS) in the EKMS(N00SM4), Wahiawa EKMS(N00SM41) of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, PAC (NCTAMS PAC).
- You will serve as the Primary Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) Manager for NCTAMS PAC, Wahiawa Communication Security (COMSEC) Vault.
- You will be acting as a principle consultant and advisor to the Regional COMSEC Manager in the development, implementation and management policy in all matters.
- You will prepare and manage the Emergency Action Plan for all COMSEC material/cryptographic equipment.
- You will provide solutions to security problems and questions and provide alternatives to meet the requirements in a variety of circumstances.
- You will reconcile electronic packages and send action reports to Director, National Security Agency.
- You will receive and sign for COMSEC material and equipment from NSA and other government and civilian agencies.
- You will assist in the investigation, interviews, preparations and submissions of incident reports for the suspected physical compromise and loss to the Commanding Officer. Qualifications Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience in the proper handling, distribution, storage, local custody, accountability, inventory, transfer, and destruction of all levels of COMSEC material and cryptographic equipment. -Experience using an Advanced Key Processor (AKP) or similar systems. -Experience verifying and ensuring clearance status and access granted are recorded and accessible for verification. -Experience providing guidance, deadlines and review work for E-6 and below military personnel. This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-0080-12.
