Millwork Procurement Specialist

• Coordinate purchasing activities for construction projects to ensure materials, equipment, and services are procured within budget, according to specifications, and aligned with project schedules.
• Create and manage project submittals while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and customer expectations.
• Develop and write detailed scopes of work for vendors, subcontractors, and specialty suppliers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while identifying and qualifying new supplier partnerships.
• Manage procurement activities for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely purchasing and material delivery.
• Coordinate specialty procurement activities including millwork, laboratory equipment, and custom project materials.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope requirements to support procurement strategy and vendor selection.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Estimating, and Operations teams to support successful project execution.
• Resolve technical procurement challenges through research, vendor consultation, and problem-solving.
• Maintain accurate purchasing documentation, vendor records, and procurement tracking systems. Our compensation package includes:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement, purchasing, or construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and procurement processes.
• Experience developing scopes of work and negotiating with vendors.
• Strong Microsoft Office and procurement software skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience with commercial construction projects preferred. Salary: $72,000 – 82,000 DOE The ideal candidate is very detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time and priorities to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
