Description Job Title: Construction Permitting Specialist Matrix Basement Finishing is the largest basement finishing company in the country and we are looking for a new permitting specialist to join our team at the Plymouth MI Location! Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Permitting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the permitting process for various projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit permit applications for various projects
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with government agencies and stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process
- Maintain accurate records of all permits and related documentation
- Monitor the status of permit applications and follow up as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding permitting requirements Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field
- Proven experience in permitting processes and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and permitting software Job Details:
