Emergency Management Specialist (Continuity and Resilience Policy/Plans Coordinator)

Summary This position is in the Office of the Administrator, Office of National Security and Operations Coordination, Operations and Continuity Division. About: Office of the Administrator This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. Duties You will: Lead National Security, Continuity Planning, Preparedness, and Policy Activities. Carry out major projects to facilitate continuity and resilience program activities across the agency. Plan and implement continuity operations and coordinate complex emergency response activities across multiple agency organizational elements. One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position. Qualifications NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as developing continuity and resilience policies; analyzing and evaluating operational reports; and coordinating classified and unclassified communication and/or IT systems to facilitate information sharing.
