Job Title Director / Senior Director – Healthcare Investment Transactions Job Description Summary Job Description Key Responsibilities 1. Deal Origination & Strategy
- Identify and evaluate opportunities in:
- Hospitals, diagnostics chains, medical campuses
- Life sciences parks, pharma infra, medtech clusters
- Healthcare-led mixed-use / REIT / asset monetization platforms
- Build relationships with hospital operators, developers, PE funds, and family offices 2 . Transaction Execution
- Lead end-to-end deal execution:
- Buy-side / sell-side M&A
- Platform deals, roll-ups, carve-outs
- Joint ventures, lease structures, asset monetization
- Manage advisors (IBs, legal, Big 4) across diligence and closing 3 . Investment Underwriting
- Build and review:
- Financial models (IRR, yield, asset-level returns)
- Real estate + operating business hybrid structure
- Evaluate lease vs own models, brownfield vs greenfield expansions 4. Stakeholder Management
- Interface with:
- Promoters / hospital chains (Apollo, Fortis, Manipal etc.)
- Private equity and sovereign funds
- Internal IC and senior leadership Candidate Profile Experience
- 12–18+ years in:
- Investment banking / PE / transaction advisory
- Exposure to healthcare + real estate / infra deals (critical)
- Strong track record in:
- Healthcare M&A / investments OR infra / real estate platform deals
- Complex structuring (JV, platform build-outs, asset monetization) Skills
- Strong commercial judgment (infra + healthcare blend)
- Advanced financial modeling
- Deal structuring expertise
- Senior stakeholder influence Education
- Tier-1 MBA (IIM / ISB / global) preferred
