Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (Saturdays and overtime as required) Summary: The Maintenance Technician I plays a key role in keeping our facility running smoothly. In this position, you'll perform general maintenance inside and outside our manufacturing facility, ensuring every area operates safely and efficiently. • Performs routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and lighting
• Completes minor repairs to facility fixtures, furniture, and equipment
• Ensures doors, windows, locks, and security systems are working properly
• Carries out preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on all equipment according to the established schedule
• Checks critical systems regularly to catch wear and tear before it becomes a problem
• Replaces filters, lubricate moving parts, and test systems according to manufacturer recommendations
• Monitors air quality, lighting levels, and water quality to meet health standards
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards
• Maintains inventory of tools, supplies, and non-production parts
• Responds promptly to emergencies such as power outages, water leaks, or structural damage
• Coordinates with outside vendors on facility and equipment repairs
• Operates specialized maintenance equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned Requirements What You’ll Bring :
• 2+ years of mechanical or electrical experience, training, or a combination of both
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate a forklift and electric pallet jack to load tractor-trailers and other vehicles as needed
• Basic data entry skills and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Availability to work first, second, or third shift, plus weekends as needed to meet project deadlines
• Self-motivated, takes initiative, and inspires others
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Works well independently and in small teams
• Contributes to a positive, productive work environment
• Comfortable working alongside office pets (cats and dogs) Not Required but Nice to Have!
