Bio Medical Science Teaching Assistant & Assistant Division: CAS Department: Biology Experience: Entry-level Job Code: FWSCASBIOASTCR Supervisor/Reports To: Phillip Jen Start Date: Assist with grading for biomedical science undergraduate classes . Ideal for students interested in pursuing education, health sciences or biology careers. Open to any student in any major with attention to detail and accuracy. Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

• Grade laboratory and lecture exams (P,T)
• Supervise classroom examinations for compliance ( P, C, L)
• Wash and clean all lab materials and equipment for OSHA compliance – C, TW
• Help supervise A&P and histology labs – C, P, CSD, TW, CT, T
• Assist with and contribute to events hosted by departmental staff – C, TW, P
• Work independently and efficiently; use available resources to direct guests – CT, P Competencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T) Preferred Skills: Word, attention to detail, strong active listening abilities, , written & verbal communication, willingness to learn new things.
