Line of Business: TD Global Corporate Citizenship Job Description: The Responsible Business team, part of U.S. Corporate Citizenship, focuses on the intersection of TD's business with communities, reputation, regulation, and growth. The team understands evolving stakeholder expectations, and pursues opportunities that create value for both communities and the business. Reporting to the Head of Responsible Business, the Manager, Advisory Engagement & Stakeholder Intelligence leads external advisory engagement and stakeholder insight activities. This role manages national and local advisory groups, coordinates executive-level engagements, and builds strong, ongoing relationships with community partners and other external stakeholders. The Manager synthesizes stakeholder feedback into actionable insights that inform business planning, risk management, community impact, and responsible business priorities. The role also maintains governance, documentation, and cross-functional follow-through to support consistent, credible, and responsive engagement. The Corporate Citizenship Manager manages/leads the development and/or execution of community / environment plans/ programs/ projects/ strategies consistent with TD's enterprise strategies. Depth & Scope:
- Manages multiple community/environment programs/projects/initiatives of moderate scope and complexity
- Highly seasoned community/environment professional role requiring substantial knowledge/expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas
- Integrates knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and the industry environment, recommends courses of action and best practices to improve products, processes, or services
- Acts as a technical expert/lead, integrating cross-function understanding within own field of specialty
- Independently manages end-to-end functional programs
- Communicates difficult concepts; converts information to compelling business context and advice; influences and gains alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders
- Works autonomously as the lead and guides others within area of expertise Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations or equivalent required
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing principles and disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry and product/customer markets
- Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
- Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, and regulations
- Knowledge and understanding of process improvement methodologies
- Ability to manage a budget and work within the constraints of that budget
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership
- Skill in mentoring, coaching and performance management
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
- Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills

- Designs, develops, and executes community/environment solutions to address marketing/business/enterprise needs/plans/strategies and supports a positive customer experience and the Brand, ensuring alignment with internal marketing standards/goals
- Manages, promotes, and delivers assigned programs, activities, events and/or presentations that build awareness and encourage support and grants to community investment initiatives that enhance the TD Brand image
- Designs and produces strategic communications for positioning programs/initiatives while meeting established communication principles (consistent and addresses the audience’s needs and expectations), on-time and on-budget
- Builds strong relationships with key representatives from selected charitable/external organizations, as well as internal business partners and support groups, to ensure required regulatory and legal obligations are met
- Manages third party relationships that enhance and support the TD Brand
- Provides counsel and advice to businesses regarding any community giving, investment and/or sponsorship initiatives/programs
- Contributes to establishing and updating policies, procedures, and processes with other internal, key stakeholders
- Acts as a key reference for programs and processes relating to area of expertise and provides counsel and advice to businesses regarding community/environment programs/strategies/investments
- Provides ongoing communication to ensure appropriate stakeholders are notified of progress or changes in program content, budget, direction, timeline, or status and escalates as appropriate
- Maintains strong understanding of TD's businesses, enterprise strategies and external environment to deliver and ensure effective strategies/programs
- Assesses the effectiveness of programs, processes, and documentation; evaluates the impact on the achievement of business results
- Develops and manages good working relationships and maintains open dialogue with key internal and external business partners to ensure adequate execution of project deliverables
- Actively works to resolve escalated issues and manages changes within the project/program/initiative
- Recognized within TD as an expert within own field of expertise

- Prepares and manages budgets for each project within the agreed upon parameters
- Participates in the annual planning cycle; confirms quarterly forecast amounts (invoices and estimates) for quarterly budget lockdown
- Manages the appropriate use of assigned resources (i.e., people, budget, processes) within area of responsibility
- Plans and delivers efficient and cost-effective processes that support and promote the implementation of programs
- Evaluates the effectiveness of processes/services and recommends/champions possible enhancements
