Description Position Summary StrideCare is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Vice President of Enterprise Project Management to lead the end-to-end execution of our enterprise capital and strategic project portfolio. This role is ideal for a leader who naturally brings structure, precision, discipline, and follow-through to complex initiatives. The successful candidate will be someone who notices the details others may overlook, maintains exceptionally high standards for accuracy, and takes satisfaction in ensuring that plans, budgets, timelines, documentation, and deliverables are complete and correct. The VP of Enterprise Project Management will translate approved strategy into successfully completed projects and open, revenue-generating locations. This leader will oversee real estate execution, design and construction, licensure and accreditation, operational readiness, and project go-live while building a disciplined enterprise project management function. Success in this role requires the ability to see both the big picture and the smallest details—and to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. What You'll Own

  • Maintain a single, accurate source of truth for scope, schedule, budget, milestones, risks, dependencies, and status across the enterprise project portfolio.
  • Establish disciplined project governance, including stage gates, milestone reviews, detailed project plans, documentation standards, and risk/issue escalation.
  • Ensure project information is accurate, complete, current, and reconciled before executive or Board-level reporting.
  • Produce clear, precise reporting on milestones, capital deployment, budget variance, project risks, and go-live readiness.
  • Own de novo clinic delivery from approved pipeline through opening, including site due diligence, lease support, design, construction, staffing readiness, and operational launch.
  • Provide detailed cost, timeline, and market considerations to support leadership's site-selection decisions.
  • Coordinate closely with operations and clinical leadership to align clinic openings with provider onboarding and anticipated volume.
  • Direct ASC development from concept through licensure and first case, including programming, room classification, construction, equipment procurement, accreditation, and regulatory readiness.
  • Track CMS, state licensure, payer, credentialing, accreditation, and other dependencies to ensure requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Lead executive- and Board-sponsored initiatives, including systems implementations, integrations, operational rollouts, and cross-market programs.
  • Build and maintain detailed project pro formas, including capital requirements, EBITDA impact, payback, incremental volume, and post-completion performance.
  • Own project budgets and contingencies, closely monitoring commitments, invoices, forecasts, change orders, and variance to approved plans.
  • Reconcile project and market-level capital figures to ensure portfolio reporting ties accurately to Board and financial reporting.
  • Identify potential gaps, inconsistencies, or risks early and drive them to resolution before they impact timelines or financial performance.
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable internal project managers and external project partners.
  • Allocate PM resources based on enterprise priorities, project complexity, deadlines, and organizational capacity.
  • Establish and continuously improve PMO methodologies, templates, checklists, controls, documentation, and project-management tools.
  • Select and manage architects, general contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors while establishing repeatable standards for future projects.
  • Coordinate real estate, legal, IT, revenue cycle, credentialing, marketing, finance, and clinical operations around clearly defined project milestones and go-live dates.
  • Translate operational requirements into detailed project specifications while communicating construction constraints and dependencies back to operational stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. The Person We're Looking For You are someone who believes details matter . You naturally double-check your work, anticipate dependencies, document decisions, and follow commitments through completion. You are comfortable working with complex information and can quickly identify when numbers do not reconcile, deadlines are at risk, requirements are incomplete, or a critical detail has been overlooked. You bring structure to ambiguity. Rather than relying on memory or informal follow-up, you create systems, processes, checklists, timelines, and accountability mechanisms that make execution predictable. You are also comfortable holding others accountable to clearly defined standards. You communicate professionally and directly, ask thoughtful questions, and are willing to dig deeper when something doesn't look right. You will thrive in this role if you:
  • Have an exceptionally high level of attention to detail and accuracy .
  • Are methodical, organized, and disciplined in how you approach complex work.
  • Prefer clearly defined processes, milestones, ownership, and expectations.
  • Consistently follow through and close the loop on outstanding items.
  • Anticipate problems and dependencies before they become urgent.
  • Are comfortable reviewing detailed financial, operational, construction, and regulatory information.
  • Maintain high standards even when managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy or quality.
  • Enjoy building repeatable systems and improving processes over time.
  • Are comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and verifying information rather than accepting incomplete answers.
  • Can balance independent ownership with highly collaborative cross-functional leadership. Required Skills & Capabilities
  • Strong capital-planning and financial-modeling capabilities, including pro formas, payback analysis, ROI, and EBITDA impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a structured portfolio of complex projects with multiple dependencies.

  • Ability to identify inconsistencies, risks, missing information, and dependencies within complex project plans.
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor-management capabilities.
  • Experience leading and developing a PMO or project-management team.
  • Working knowledge of real estate development, design, construction, licensure, accreditation, and contractor management.
  • Ability to establish standards and hold internal and external stakeholders accountable to them.
  • High degree of professionalism, ownership, discretion, and reliability. Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading multi-site capital projects, real estate development, design/construction, or similarly complex project portfolios.
  • Demonstrated ownership of project budgets, schedules, risks, and successful delivery.
  • Experience opening healthcare, clinical, or multi-location facilities from development through operational go-live.
  • Experience developing ASCs or licensed clinical facilities, including familiarity with FGI/ASHRAE 170 room classification, accreditation, AHJ, and state-licensure requirements.
