Job Description: The Senior Business Control Specialist is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across the Card Payment Network Acquiring business. This role partners with business, operations, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to strengthen controls, drive issue remediation, support complex business initiatives, and ensure adherence to applicable regulatory, policy, and Card Payment Network requirements. The candidate will leverage analytics, technology, and approved AI capabilities to identify trends, solve complex problems, influence outcomes, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Daily functions include but are not limited to:
  • Manage and strengthen business controls across the Card Payment Network Acquiring organization.
  • Identify, assess, and remediate operational, compliance, and reputational risks.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Partner across functions to implement control enhancements and process improvements.
  • Support governance activities through reporting, analytics, and risk assessments.
  • Leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve efficiency and risk management.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive resolution of complex risk and control issues. Required Skill s:
