We are looking for PhD-level Engineering professionals and researchers to support a frontier AI initiative focused on creating advanced scientific and technical evaluation tasks. This opportunity is ideal for researchers with strong computational skills who can design realistic engineering workflows, develop reproducible environments, and create evaluation criteria for AI systems. Role Overview As a Scientific Computing & Research Engineering Expert , you will:
- Design multi-step scientific and engineering tasks based on real-world workflows
- Develop computational environments and reproducible setups
- Create automated evaluation criteria to assess technical correctness
- Contribute to improving AI systems through high-quality engineering evaluations Required Expertise We are looking for professionals with experience in: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Civil Engineering Materials Engineering Biomedical Engineering Control Systems Robotics Computational Design Technical Skills
- Strong programming experience in Python, C/C++, Julia, MATLAB/Octave, or Bash
- Experience working with Linux or terminal-based environments
- Knowledge of:
- Simulation and modeling
- Numerical analysis
- Optimization
- Signal processing
- Technical data analysis Preferred Experience
- Scientific computing libraries: NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, PyTorch
- Engineering tools: OpenFOAM, CalculiX, FEniCS, ROS, or similar platforms
- Experience in FEM, CFD, robotics, embedded systems, control systems, or digital twins
- Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD, or HPC environments
- Research publications, patents, or industry experience in computational engineering Engagement Details Locations: Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, Turkey, Brazil, Colombia Work Mode: Remote Engagement: Contractor Assignment Duration: 10 weeks Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week) Time Zone: 4 hours PST overlap required
