• Advising the Inventory and Distribution Management Branch Chief (FENB), the Supply Chain Management Division Chief (FEN), the Director of Supplier Operations on matters related to cradle to grave management of bulk petroleum supply chain service.
• Serving as the Agency's sole bulk petroleum technical evaluation chairperson and as a senior analyst who has mastered the application of a wide range of qualitative methods to improve program and personnel management processes.
• Controlling distribution and redistribution of all bulk petroleum contract and inventory assets.
• Developing, maintaining, interpreting, and implementing supply chain management directives, regulations, manuals, SOPs, and policy documents.
• Representing DLA Energy with DOD, Federal agencies, and bulk petroleum distribution industry on all matters related to supply chain management of DLA Energy products.
• Analyzing fuel distribution systems and purchase strategies to decide the adequacy of existing and projected requirements. Qualifications To qualify for a Supervisory General Supply Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Experience advising senior leadership on complex supply chain operations related to bulk petroleum or commodities. Experience serving as a senior analyst or technical evaluator applying a wide range of qualitative methods to assess, optimize, and improve program management workflows, personnel processes, and operational efficiencies. Experience directly controlling the distribution and redistribution of large-scale contract and inventory assets. Experience analyzing complex distribution systems and purchase strategies to forecast requirements and execute alternative supply actions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
