Job description Mechanical Assembly Operative We are recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Operative to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical, assembly, production, m anufacturing, or hands-on experience, as well as those with a strong work ethic looking to develop technical skills. Full training is provided. Key Duties:
- Mechanical assembly and fitting
- Strip down, cleaning, and reassembly of components
- Use of hand tools and basic engineering equipment
- Following engineering drawings or work instructions
- Quality inspection and testing
- General production and manufacturing duties Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools (spanners, torque wrenches, etc.)
- Ability to follow instructions and processes
- Good attention to detail
- Backgrounds considered: assembly operative, production operative, warehouse operative, mechanical fitter, vehicle mechanic, technician This role would suit candidates with experience as:
- Mechanical Assembly Operative
- Mechanical Fitter / Assembler
- Vehicle Mechanic or Vehicle Technician
- Motor Mechanic
