Procurement Engineer-Capex

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors to ensure the best value for the company.
• Project Management: Oversee the procurement process for capital projects, ensuring timely delivery and installation of equipment.
• Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality standards.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Machine requirement: Collect the machine requirement from respective department user and prepare the freeze technical sheet for order finalization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to understand their requirements and provide procurement support. Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a CAPEX or engineering environment.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, project management, and analytical skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge: Understanding of capital equipment and machinery, market trends, and supplier networks. Key Competencies:
