This position reports to: Service Team Leader __ In this position, you will perform service activities in accordance with work instructions and ABB quality and safety guidelines. You will ensure excellent customer service on a daily basis by planning service assignments and executing them in line with customer requirements and expectations. Through your clear and professional communication, you will contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing transparent information regarding schedules, processes, and expectations. Work model: Field-based This role is part of the Electrification, Smart Power division in Baden. Your key stakeholders will include customers, field service colleagues, and the internal service coordination team. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Collaborate with customers on-site to identify optimization opportunities and resolve existing challenges
• Perform service assignments, identify technical issues, and conduct on-site or remote analysis within the service categories and product areas for which you are certified
• Prepare material lists for service assignments and ensure that all required materials, spare parts, and tools are available, complete, and in proper working condition

• Completed vocational training as an Automation Technician, Electrician, Electrical Installer, Electrical Planner, or a comparable technical qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in automation, electrical engineering, or a related technical field; experience with UPS systems (uninterruptible power supply) is an advantage
• Solid knowledge of electromechanical systems, diagnostic tools, and service processes in an industrial environment
• Strong customer focus, flexibility in adapting to changing requirements, and a solution-oriented and collaborative approach to teamwork
• Fluent German and basic English skills for professional communication with customers
• Willingness to travel, participate in an on-call rotation, and occasionally work weekends; primary service area: Region Central Switzerland

Zu Ihren wichtigsten Ansprechpartnern gehören Kunden, Kolleginnen und Kollegen im Field Service sowie das interne Service-Koordinationsteam. Sie sind hauptsächlich verantwortlich für:
• Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden vor Ort, um Optimierungsmöglichkeiten zu identifizieren und bestehende Herausforderungen zu lösen
• Durchführung von Serviceeinsätzen, Identifizierung technischer Probleme sowie Durchführung von Analysen vor Ort oder aus der Ferne innerhalb der Servicekategorien und Produktbereiche, für die Sie zertifiziert sind
• Erstellung von Materiallisten für Serviceeinsätze und Sicherstellung, dass alle erforderlichen Materialien, Ersatzteile und Werkzeuge vollständig verfügbar und in einwandfreiem Zustand sind
• Durchführung von Schulungen für Kolleginnen und Kollegen im Field Service sowie für Kunden nach Bedarf Unser Team Sie werden Teil eines kollegialen und unterstützenden Teams, in dem Sie sich sowohl fachlich als auch persönlich weiterentwickeln können. Ihre Qualifikationen
• Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Automatiker/in, Elektriker/in, Elektroinstallateur/in, Elektroplaner/in oder eine vergleichbare technische Qualifikation
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Automatisierung, Elektrotechnik oder einem verwandten technischen Bereich; Erfahrung mit USV-Anlagen (unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgung) ist von Vorteil
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in elektromechanischen Systemen, Diagnosetools und Serviceprozessen im industriellen Umfeld
• Ausgeprägte Kundenorientierung, Flexibilität bei wechselnden Anforderungen sowie eine lösungsorientierte und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise
• Fliessende Deutschkenntnisse und grundlegende Englischkenntnisse für die professionelle Kommunikation mit Kunden
• Reisebereitschaft, Bereitschaft zur Teilnahme am Pikettdienst sowie zu gelegentlichen Wochenendeinsätzen; primäres Servicegebiet: Region Zentralschweiz
