Description Job Description nimble solutions (“nimble” and f/k/a National Medical) is currently seeking a Director, Accounts Receivable-nimble international to join our team. nimble provides revenue cycle outsourcing services to ambulatory surgery centers (“ASCs”), surgical practices, surgical hospitals, and anesthesia groups. As the Director, Accounts Receivable you will oversee, develop, and be accountable for $10-$20 client revenue and lead a team of 5-15 individuals. This individual should have a successful track record of driving results to meet performance SLA’s, expertise in RCM accounts receivable and claims, and demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and grow a team. You will be focused on optimizing our operation, partnering with thei Senior Vice President, Accounts Receivable to create and drive strategy. Responsibilities?? People Leadership?

• Leads, develops, and assists Assistant Directors, Managers and Accounts Receivable Representatives with daily responsibilities.??
• Drives performance through established department KPIs (key performance indicators) and holds team accountable.?
• Ensures Assistant Directors provides leadership and drives training plan for new Accounts Receivable team members (in partnership with training team).?
• Develops and coaches underperforming team members by providing direct feedback and coaching.?
• Accountable for driving team members to meet and exceed goals and provide detailed feedback to team and leadership if the goals are not met.? Financial & AR Performance
• Own cash collections, AR aging, inventory reduction and client financial KPIs.
• Establish performance targets and corrective action plans.
• Identify revenue leakage and opportunities to improve cash realization . Operational Excellence & Productivity
• Drive productivity, capacity utilization, quality and SLA performance.
• Optimize staffing and workforce allocation based on workload and business priorities.
• Establish standardized operating models and best practices across teams. Transformation & Automation
• Lead AR transformation initiatives using automation, analytics and technology.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual work and improve first-pass resolution.
• Partner with Technology, Analytics and Operations to implement scalable solutions. Leadership & Talent Development
• Build a strong leadership pipeline through ADs, Managers and team leaders.
• Establish succession planning and talent development.
• Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high performance. Analytics?
• Partners with analytics team to review and analyze reports and data to maximize efficiency and direct focus to appropriate areas of concern.?
• Reviews data and creates and drives action plans to resolve accounts and issues.?
• Identify denial trends, report on global payer issues, and implement recovery plans.?
• Ensure team is creating and executing reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. AR reports for clients.??? Subject Matter Expert?
• Acts as a resource for all Accounts Receivable team members for questions regarding billing policies, state guidelines, reimbursement analysis and assists with resolution of challenging accounts and claims.?? Process?
• Creates and drives policies, procedures and best practices and revises as necessary.?
• Ensures change management best practice is followed and monitored to adhere adoption of processes.??
• Enforces and hold team accountable for adhering to and driving process.? Qualifications??
• At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.?
• 5+ years of Accounts Receivable and Claims experience in the healthcare industry.?
• Strong analytic skills and proven success leading process improvement initiatives and project management?
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Private Pay, Liability, and Worker’s Compensation requirements and procedures and diagnosis and medical terminology.?
• Intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.?
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and patient confidentiality policies.?
• Advanced knowledge of the revenue cycle is required, experience with ASC billing preferred.?
• Epic experience strongly preferred.?
• Experience creating and delivering client facing content and client presentations.?
