Description S&S Tire is a leading provider of products and services to trucking companies and related industries, servicing Lexington, KY and surrounding markets. We are looking to add a Alignment Mechanic to our Truck Tire Team. Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Familiar with Hunter Alignment machines and computers
  • Heavy Duty Certified in steering, suspension, and alignment
  • Must be familiar with Heavy Duty suspension and steering repairs to include 3 axle alignments on road tractors.
  • Execute repairs to factory specifications
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills We offer:

  • Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm
  • Competitive wages - $20-23/hour
  • depending on experience, 5% of parts and labor

  • A Valid Drivers License
  • The ability to work in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment.

  • Commitment to being on time.
  • Ability to communicate, verbally and written, clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.
  • Be able to lift 75-100 pounds.
