Fire Explorer Program
Overview The Fire Explorer Program, which is affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America, is for teenaged members of the community that are from age 14 to 19. Fire Explorers are given the opportunity to serve their community, through a safe, nurturing environment, where meaningful learning experiences are developed to establish positive character traits. A City of Burlington Employment Application form is required to be submitted as part of this position recruitment. Exploring is based on five areas of emphasis: career opportunities, life skills, citizenship, character education and leadership experience. A Gpa
of 3.0 or higher is preferred
- Attend monthly meetings and training sessions
