Job Description Head of Learning Delivery Full Time – Hybrid Derby, Bangalore, Krakow Why join Rolls-Royce? Role Purpose The Head of Learning Delivery is accountable for translating Rolls-Royce’s learning strategy and enterprise capability priorities into a globally consistent, safe, compliant and high-performing learning service. The role sets delivery strategy, leads and aligns the five portfolios—including the matrixed team of Learning Business Partners—and owns outcomes across safety, cost, quality, delivery, colleague experience and business impact. It governs £20m+ annual spend and strategic suppliers, mobilises enterprise change, and champions accessible, technology-enabled learning, data-led improvement and an #AlwaysLearning culture. Key Accountabilities
- Own global learning delivery performance. Accountable for safety, cost, quality, delivery, compliance, colleague experience and measurable business impact across learning services
- Lead the five learning delivery portfolios to drive a Learning Culture in Rolls-Royce. Provide leadership across Learning Business Partnering, Technical Learning, Learning Excellence & Compliance, Global Learning Operations, and Learning Ecosystem & Experience
- Govern strategic learning spend and suppliers. Own governance of £20m+ annual learning spend, supplier strategy, contracts, service levels, value delivery and commercial risk
- Translate enterprise capability priorities into delivery. Work with business leaders, Organisation Excellence, People teams and portfolio leads to prioritise learning demand and turn strategic capability needs into executable learning outcomes
- Drive accessible, modern and data-led learning. Ensure learning is easy to access for all colleague groups, supported by high-quality digital content, connected technology, strong data standards and measurable insight Key Experiences and Qualifications
- Enterprise learning leadership . Ability to translate business strategy and capability/skills priorities into a globally consistent learning delivery model
- Commercial and supplier management. Strong capability to govern significant learning spend, manage strategic suppliers, drive value, and hold partners to performance expectations
- Stakeholder influence in a complex matrix. Confidence influencing senior leaders across Divisions, Functions, Regions, People teams and external partners without relying solely on direct authority
- Data, technology and digital learning capability . Ability to use learning analytics, platforms, AI-enabled tools and digital content to improve access, learner experience and business impact
- Operational excellence and compliance leadership. Strong discipline around safety, quality, compliance, risk management, service performance, audit assurance and continuous improvement Regional Benefits
