Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain facilities equipment such as
- boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, and other facilities equipment.
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Monitor, record, and analyze equipment data; respond to alarms or unusual operating conditions.
- Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Assist in energy management and conservation efforts by optimizing equipment performance.
- Respond to emergency calls for facilities equipment failures or system malfunctions.
- Collaborate with facility engineers, contractors, and management on upgrades, renovations, and capital projects.
- Ensure all work complies with safety policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required); knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance.
- Knowledge of boiler and HVAC system operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with digital controls, building automation systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and communication skills.
