The work The Senior SAP Procurement Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, building, and configuring SAP solutions to support complex procure‑to‑pay business processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep functional expertise, and the ability to work across integrated teams to ensure SAP enhancements align with business requirements and broader system workflows. You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, technical services teams, and client stakeholders to deliver functional solutions, manage integration touchpoints, and ensure efficient coordination across sub‑teams. Responsibilities include developing detailed business process designs, creating functional specifications, enhancing SAP modules, and producing documentation for RICEFW objects, test models, and scripts. The consultant will lead requirements-gathering efforts, design scalable procurement solutions, and manage large testing cycles. Experience with planning, staffing, forecasting, and team leadership is highly valued. Key responsibilities:
- Maintain, enhance, and develop SAP procurement modules and processes, including those integrated with external applications
- Build functional solutions across procure‑to‑pay processes and complete related design, configuration, and testing activities
- Develop detailed business process designs and associated documentation
- Design and document RICEFW objects, test models, test scripts, and process flows
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions and develop functional designs that meet enterprise procurement needs
- Collaborate with technical counterparts to ensure all technical development aligns with functional requirements
- Develop test strategies and manage complex test cycles, including SIT and UAT
- Create detailed configuration rationales and perform system configuration builds
- Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and work planning for procurement workstreams
- Lead and mentor junior team members to support capability development and knowledge transfer Here’s what you need: Mandatory Qualifications
- 5+ years of SAP Procurement experience across ECC and SRM
- Team lead experience Eligibility requirements:
- US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Eligible to obtain a minimum of a Secret Clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
