• 75 Genesee St DEPARTMENT: Healthy Moms HOURS WEEK: Part-Time 30 hours/week SCHEDULE: M-F 8:45am-3:15pm RESPONSIBILITIES
• Guidance & Relationship Building. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all of the children and their families; effectively guide the children’s behavior in an age appropriate manner; meet the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children
• Development. Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children while fostering an environment that supports their growth
• Safety & Oversight. Ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits; work with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent OR One (1) year of experience working with children less than 13 years Required Licensure/Certification Skills: None Preferred Attributes
• One (1) year of work experience with small children

• Childcare roles require high physical engagement, including walking, kneeling, squatting, and lifting children or objects 20
• 50 lbs. Workers must move fluidly between positions while maintaining control and situational awareness. Both fine and gross motor coordination are essential for routine care tasks. High levels of visual and auditory monitoring are required to ensure child safety. Emotional demands are substantial, requiring patience, empathy, and the ability to manage behavioral challenges and frequent interruptions. PAY RANGE: $16.25 - $18.43 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14611 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
