Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Shift : 7am-11am Monday through Friday. May have to: Cover 8hr shifts Travel to outreach clinics Cover call What you will do: · Performs nuclear medicine procedures on scheduled shifts including emergency call-back basis including, but not limited to, ordering, measuring, preparing, and administration of radioactive materials, operating nuclear medicine equipment, and documenting activities as specified by regulatory agencies. · Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. · Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problem Qualifications: · Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. · Registry eligible or Registered by the NMTCB and/or ARRT · Maintains current Iowa Permit to Practice · Maintains active registry status in NMTCB and/or ARRT · Participates in professional society · Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three months of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. · Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire. · 1 CEU per year in Radiation Safety/24 CEU’s every 2 years/1 CEU per year in QA Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
