Quality Inspector Technician Location: Northeast Zone, USA (on-site, with regional travel) Employment Type: Full Time Experience Level: Mid About PAC Group PAC Group partners with leading organizations to deliver specialized technical talent across automotive, manufacturing, and field operations. We connect skilled professionals with roles where precision, consistency, and hands-on expertise make the difference. Objective Perform hands-on quality inspections on last-mile delivery vehicles across the Northeast Zone of the United States, ensuring consistent application of inspection standards and timely reporting of findings. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute vehicle quality inspections per approved checklists and acceptance criteria
  • Apply defect classification and severity criteria consistently across inspections
  • Capture standardized photographic evidence and inspection data via the mobile inspection application
  • Perform final inspection / End-of-Line (EOL) style acceptance checks
  • Travel within the Northeast Zone to cover multiple delivery station sites
  • Escalate critical findings per program protocol Deliverables
  • Completed VIN-level inspection checklists and photographic evidence
  • Defect classification records per inspection
  • Daily/weekly inspection activity logs
  • Escalation reports for critical findings Qualifications Required Skills & Experience:
  • ASE certification (or equivalent) preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered
  • Proven experience in vehicle quality evaluation and inspection
  • Experience with final inspection / End-of-Line (EOL) vehicle acceptance processes
  • Comfortable using mobile inspection applications and digital documentation tools
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region
  • English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with electric vehicles and high-voltage safety training
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing quality or PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) environments The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, education, and qualifications. Pay Range $40 — $45 USD
