Host/Hostess - Full Time

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Full Time (40 hours per week), every other weekend, every other holiday. Every other weekend hours are 6am-2:30pm Weekday hours are 7am-3:30pm Some additional flexibility needed due to covering when others are off.

• POSITION SUMMARY:
• To provide a high quality dining experience to patients which meets their nutritional requirements and service expectations. The Host/Hostess acts as the liaison between patients and food service and nutrition through daily patient interactions and coordinating patient nutritional needs between nursing units and dieticians, as well as kitchen staff. The Host/Hostess assists patients with room service when appropriate and delivers meal trays to assigned patients. EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE,

LICENSURE: Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and proficiently. GED/High School Diploma

REQUIREMENTS: Typing skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills and understanding of menus, food and diets. Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently to complete tasks. DEMANDS: Light to medium work, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling; service specific Pay Range: $16.20 - $23.50 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
