The Inside Sales Supervisor provides direct leadership and oversight to Inside Territory Manager associates across multiple experience levels. The position is responsible for recruiting, developing, coaching, motivating, and managing sales professionals to achieve territory growth, retention, and profitability objectives. The supervisor establishes performance expectations, monitors results, and creates a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities · Lead, coach, and develop Inside Territory Managers to achieve individual and team sales objectives. · Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions focused on sales effectiveness, pipeline management, territory planning, and professional development. · Monitor sales performance metrics and implement action plans to address opportunities and performance gaps. · Provide performance feedback, recognition, and corrective action in alignment with company policies and leadership expectations. · Support talent acquisition activities including interviewing, selection, onboarding, and training of new team members. · Drive execution of territory strategies designed to increase production, agency engagement, retention, and profitability. · Analyze sales trends, production data, and market opportunities to identify areas for growth and operational improvement. · Collaborate with field sales, underwriting, marketing, operations, and other business partners to support territory objectives. · Facilitate team meetings, training sessions, and development programs to strengthen sales competencies and product knowledge. · Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards. · Maintain accurate reporting and communicate performance results, risks, and opportunities to leadership. · Promote a positive, customer-focused culture that emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and service excellence. Required Qualifications · Bilingual in English and Spanish. · 5-7 years of sales, territory management, account management, or related business development experience. · Minimum of 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience. · Working knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms. · Strong coaching, performance management, communication, and leadership skills. · Analytical ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable recommendations. · Able and willing to work in an office environment. Preferred Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field. · Property and casualty insurance industry experience. · Call center leadership or sales operations leadership experience. · Training, facilitation, and employee development experience. · Experience leading teams in a metrics-driven sales environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities · Advanced sales, territory management, and account management capabilities. · Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance and profitability data. · Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and relationship-building skills. · Ability to influence agency behavior through consultative business planning and performance management. · Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. · Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Working Conditions · Primarily office-based or remote work environment with extensive telephone and computer usage. · Frequent interaction with direct reports through phone calls, virtual meetings, email, and other communication channels. · May require occasional travel for agency visits, training events, conferences, or company meetings. · Ability to sit for extended periods and use standard office equipment. · Work is performed in a professional business environment with established performance expectations and deadlines.
