Role and Responsibilities We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Specialist will report to has a key role to ensure successful fulfillment of orders and projects from inception to completion, as well as receiving, maintaining inventory, and shipping operations at Innovasea. The candidate must exhibit a customer first attitude with excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced setting. Key responsibilities

  • Receiving goods
  • Managing inventory
  • Kitting for production
  • Palletizing, crating, and shipping finished goods
  • Pick, pack, and ship raw materials for sales orders
  • Receiving, inventory management, and kitting tasks in the ERP system
  • Inspect and quality check incoming materials as necessary
  • Coordinating materials and consolidating shipments on sales orders
  • Tracking and organizing items on BOMs for shipment
  • Storing materials in organized fashion
  • Working with Procurement to return non-conforming material to suppliers as required
  • Cross referencing manufacturer part numbers with Innovasea stock codes to correctly identify and label incoming goods
  • Completing cycle counts and physical stock counts
  • Investigating and correcting inventory discrepancies, including proposing procedural changes to address causes of inventory discrepancies
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy of parts, modules, assemblies, finished goods
  • Unloading palletized goods during deliveries, forklift certified preferred
  • Loading palletized goods at time of shipment
  • Supporting office management tasks and additional duties as needed
  • Must be able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with Purchasing, Engineering and Production staff What we are looking for
  • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Strong understanding of inventory requirements
  • ERP Experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with colleagues about issues as they arise
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
