Experience: 3–4 Years Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary SANeForce is looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Kotlin to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Android application development, debugging, API integration, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin .
- Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance mobile applications.
- Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following Android development best practices.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs into Android applications.
- Work with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern Android development frameworks .
- Implement UI screens based on design specifications and ensure a consistent user experience.
- Identify and resolve application bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
- Perform unit testing and participate in application testing and debugging.
- Collaborate with Backend Developers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and Product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and battery consumption.
- Ensure applications are compatible across different Android versions and device configurations.
- Work on application releases, updates and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated with the latest Android and Kotlin technologies, tools, and best practices . Mandatory Skills
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Android Development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin .
- Good knowledge of Android SDK and Android Studio .
- Strong understanding of Android application architecture such as MVVM/MVI.
- Experience with Jetpack Components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, etc.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API integration .
- Good understanding of Git/version control systems .
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting Android applications.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
- Good knowledge of Android UI development using XML and/or Jetpack Compose .
- Understanding of application lifecycle, background services and local data storage. Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who:
