Hiring Unit: Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) Course code and title: EDEM 646-025. Planning and Evaluation. Description: Focuses on contemporary approaches to planning, monitoring and evaluating programs across a range of contexts (K-graduation, college, non-governmental organization, adult education centre). Areas of study include adaptive and strategic management, results-based management, log frame analysis, systems assessment, stakeholder analysis, and fourth generation evaluation. This course is not Team taught. This course is offered online synchronously. - April 30, 2026 Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs): Education: 1.Master educator with an MA in a relevant field (curriculum studies, educational leadership or school administration) and/or extensive relevant experience as a school leader or pedagogue 2. PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset Experience: 1.Expert knowledge of:
- Wide range of different theories and approaches to curriculum design, development, and implementation
- Theory and practice of educational leadership in Quebec and Canadian contexts
- Educational leadership in contemporary educational settings including but not limited to elementary and high schools and alternative schools 2.Experience as a school administrator, institutional leader, community leader and/or master teacher/instructor in the Quebec educational system Other:
- Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the graduate level
- Knowledge of the impact and proven record integrating pedagogical approaches anchored to equity, diversity and inclusion
- Familiarity using myCourses, ZOOM and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences
- Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset
