About Thea Energy: Thea Energy is leveraging recent breakthroughs in stellarator physics and engineering to create a faster and simpler approach to commercializing fusion energy. The company is reinventing the stellarator using computer-controlled arrays of planar coils thereby replacing the intricate, complex modular magnets required in all other stellarator architectures. Position Overview: Thea Energy is seeking for an experienced, organized, and motivated systems engineer. This position will work on an interdisciplinary team to integrate numerous first-of-a-kind technologies while developing scalable processes and procedures. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the managing requirements, integration, and interfaces for one of the most consequential and cutting-edge technologies of our generation
- fusion energy. The Thea Energy team is comprised of self-motivated, innovative, and collaborative individuals with an excitement for solving complex problems. This is a challenging position that requires a high degree of autonomy, and the ideal candidate must be able to move quickly. A proven track record of leading systems engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for new technologies and innovation is required.
