Operate the switchboard, directing all incoming calls and internal calls as well as paging services as required. Certification and
LICENSURE: High school graduate or equivalent. Previous experience operating switchboards highly desirable, but not required. Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT,

REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated competency in the operation of the hospitals communication system. Crisis control intervention skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

GROUP: All services, medical staff, patients, visitors, contractors and vendors. SUPERVISED BY: Coordinator of Services or Manager Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.40 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
