Position Overview The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for supporting mechanical design engineering activities and providing customer-facing technical support. This role works closely with internal cross-functional teams and customers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineered solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design Engineering
- Support Mechanical design and development of custom engineered products.
- Create and review CAD models, drawings,BOM, tolerances, and engineering documentation.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure design for manufacturability.
- Customer-Facing Support
- Serve as the primary technical interface for assigned customers.
- Conduct technical reviews, presentations, and customer meetings.
- Translate customer requirements into engineering solutions.
- Program Support
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to support customer programs. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
- Experience in customer-facing engineering roles.
- Ability to travel up to 30% as required. Salary TBD based on applicant credentials.
