Patient Access Implementation Manager The Wilshire Group is seeking an experienced Patient Access Implementation Manager to support a large-scale healthcare technology and operational transformation initiative. This role will lead key Epic implementation efforts across Patient Access, Scheduling, and Referrals, with responsibility for project planning, stakeholder coordination, implementation readiness, and successful go-lives. Work Location: Remote/Telecommute Travel: Approximately 25% Start Date: ASAP Hourly Rate: $ 80.00- $ 90.00 per hour Estimated Duration: Through May/June 2027 Position Overview The Patient Access Implementation Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Epic Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals initiatives supporting Back to Foundation and Guided Scheduling programs. This individual will work closely with IT, operational, clinical, and project leadership teams to ensure implementation activities remain aligned with organizational priorities, Epic governance, and Patient Access and Scheduling objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Epic Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals implementations, enhancements, and related workstreams.
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities across IT, clinical, operational, and Patient Access stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment among cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify project risks and barriers and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Support implementation readiness, go-live planning, command center activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Ensure project activities align with Patient Access and Scheduling Centers of Excellence (CoE) priorities and established Epic governance.
  • Support enterprise registration, scheduling, and referral-related initiatives as needed.
  • Provide clear project updates and escalate risks, decisions, and dependencies when appropriate. Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Epic Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals implementations .
  • Current or relevant Epic certifications in applicable modules.
  • Strong healthcare IT project management and implementation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Patient Access, registration, scheduling, and referral workflows.
  • Experience supporting Epic go-lives and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical, operational, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
