Responsibilities
- Administer and support DB2 databases on Mainframe (z/OS).
- Monitor database performance and perform tuning activities.
- Manage database objects, backups, recovery, and maintenance tasks.
- Support application teams with SQL optimization and database changes.
- Execute DB2 utilities such as REORG, RUNSTATS, LOAD, and RECOVER.
- Troubleshoot database issues and resolve production incidents.
- Ensure database security, availability, and data integrity.
- Support application deployments, migrations, and release activities.
- Perform capacity planning and storage management.
