Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company’s Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, Canada, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment across a broad range of positions. You will support both high-volume field and operational hiring and specialized searches across engineering, project management, outside sales, leadership and corporate functions. In this role, you will serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders. You will independently develop search strategies, identify and engage qualified candidates, provide labor-market insights and guide hiring teams through candidate evaluation and selection. The ideal candidate can comfortably shift between high-volume recruiting and complex, difficult-to-fill searches, work with minimal direction and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization. You will also provide guidance and support to less-experienced recruiters, although this position will not initially have direct reports. What You’ll Do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake and calibration meetings, sourcing, screening, candidate assessment, hiring manager presentations, interview support, offer development and candidate closing.
- Lead searches across multiple job families and levels, including field technicians, skilled trades, engineers, outside sales professionals, project managers, project leaders and other specialized or leadership positions.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-volume, difficult-to-fill and geographically dispersed roles.
- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, industry associations, referrals, job boards and other sourcing tools.
- Partner with hiring managers, senior leaders and executives to understand business needs, define candidate profiles and establish effective recruiting plans.
- Lead productive calibration and candidate-review discussions, helping hiring teams align expectations with available talent and current market conditions.
- Provide insight into talent availability, competitive compensation, candidate expectations and potential recruiting challenges.
- Prioritize searches based on business impact, hiring urgency and workforce plans while maintaining momentum across multiple active requisitions.
- Build talent pipelines for recurring, specialized and business-critical positions.
- Coordinate with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Ensure accurate and timely handoffs to the pre-hire and onboarding team following offer acceptance.
- Partner with RPO providers and recruiting agencies when additional support or specialized expertise is needed.
- Evaluate agency usage and identify opportunities to bring searches in-house.
- Maintain accurate candidate, requisition and recruiting activity information within the applicant tracking system.
- Track and communicate recruiting metrics, pipeline health, hiring risks and search progress.
- Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes, sourcing tools, interview practices and hiring manager resources.
- Coach and support less-experienced recruiters while promoting consistent recruiting practices across the team.
- Deliver a professional, responsive and positive candidate experience.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws and company policies. What You’ll Bring
- 5 or more years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and demonstrated recruiting expertise.
- Proven experience independently managing both high-volume recruitment and specialized or difficult-to-fill searches.
- Direct experience recruiting sales professionals.
- Experience recruiting across multiple job families and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders and executives throughout the hiring process.
- Strong passive-candidate sourcing and talent-mapping capabilities.
- Experience developing search strategies without relying primarily on inbound applicants or outside agencies.
- Strong judgment and the ability to evaluate candidate qualifications beyond minimum résumé requirements.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain momentum across multiple searches.
- Strong consultation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, job boards and other recruiting technologies.
- Ability to use recruiting data and labor-market information to guide hiring decisions.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and compliant interviewing and selection practices. Preferred Qualifications
- Recruiting experience within industrial services, manufacturing, engineering, specialty contracting, construction, field services or another technical environment.
- Experience recruiting engineers, project managers, project leaders, sales professionals, skilled trades and field-based employees.
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed or nationwide workforce.
- Experience partnering with RPO providers and external recruiting agencies.
- Experience mentoring or coaching recruiters.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. What Success Looks Like
