What you'll do The Construction Superintendent is primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating all the workings at a job site including that of a crew of electricians, apprentices, and laborers. They will establish and adjust work timelines to meet the construction schedule for the project and organize and coordinate all project materials and equipment. The Forman will also ensure that all work installed is completed following the standards set forth by the supervisor, all work will be completed on budget, on time, following all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Requirements

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. You represent Enchanted Rock and therefore, manage and oversee all efforts of employees, subcontractors, quality inspection activities of inspectors, craft supervisors and specialists on the job site throughout all phases of construction.
• Manage all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building, quality, and safety regulations; serve as the onsite Safety Director by ensuring safety compliance policies, procedures and methods are upheld.
• Perform continuous surveillance of all craft discipline to assure a high-quality standard of workmanship and conformance with approved engineering drawings, specifications, applicable code, and best in class construction practices.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques to ensure staff and subcontractors comply with quality and control standards; oversee completion of walk-through items.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide necessary feedback during the proposal process.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Select tools, materials, equipment, and track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance and report deviations.
• Review the work progress daily and prepare internal and external reporting on the job status.
• Negotiate terms of agreements and obtain permits and licenses to conform to the production schedule.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks by adjusting personnel and equipment resources as needed to resolve construction problems and to avoid delays.
• Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones; resolve issues and complaints.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned at the direction of the Company’s management. Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a journeyman in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures using blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
• Pass a background check, including drug test.
• Experience using hand tools, small power tools, shop machines, and heavy equipment.
• Experience inspecting installation sites.
• Experience studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
• Experience reading contract drawings.
• Experience installing and mounting electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components.
• Experience installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, wiring, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment following drawings of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Ability to perform interlock wiring as required.
• Experience testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
• Ability to appropriately diagnose malfunctions in systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and take appropriate steps to correct the problem.
• Ability to instruct and train workers to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Has a clear understanding of the latest edition of the NEC.
