Job Description Summary Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users needs. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed. Process that proceeds from concept to production to operation. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

• Conducts customer trainings at GVH and customer sites for installed I&C equipment including Nuclear Instrumentation (SRM/IRM/WRNM/PRNM).
• Supports BWR Fleet with emergent engineering requests and testing to support problem identification and resolution.
• Supports direct communication with customers as single point of contact for rapid issue resolution using their expert knowledge and engaging in correct internal resources and guiding the team to resolution.
• Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of legacy technical information in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
• Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
• Applies technical judgment to solve moderately complex problems within product and operational environments. Identifies opportunities to innovate on established solutions. Supports recommendations with evidence-based analysis and leverages cross-functional input to reach effective, objective-led conclusions.
• Serves as a technical mentor and subject matter expert for junior staff. Leads moderately complex projects with a focus on risk management and resource optimization. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, particularly in communicating complex or sensitive information and facilitating team consensus. Actively cultivates influence and negotiation skills to drive initiatives forward within the organization. Required Qualifications :
• Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License or certification.
• 5+ years of experience in a Senior Reactor Operator role, technical training capacity, or an equivalent position.
• 5+ years of direct experience working at a utility or within a military (preferably Navy) branch in an I&C capacity.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Analog I&C technology. OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering or technical training within an I&C or similar environment.
• 5+ years of direct experience working at a utility or within a military (preferably Navy) branch in an I&C capacity.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Analog I&C technology. Eligibility Requirements :
• This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S Government.
• The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC. If not already local, relocation assistance can be provided.
• This opportunity could see 10 to 15% travel.
• Opportunity is eligible for a Hybrid work format (3 days onsite, 2 days offsite). Desired Characteristics :
• Master's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Reactor Operator/Senior Reactor Operator License.
• Experience with NUMAC systems.
• Current or Past Lead site engineer at utility for I&C Systems engineering.
• Experience in Engineering, Operations, Maintenance at early style BWR/PWR (BWR 3 or 4).
• Multi-site

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
