Job Description – Packing Job Title: Packing Operator / Packing Associate Department: Packing Location: Manufacturing Unit Job Summary Responsible for packing finished garments accurately and efficiently according to company standards, customer requirements, and packing instructions. Key Responsibilities
- Pack finished garments as per the approved packing method and instructions.
- Check quantity, size, colour, style, and packing details before packing.
- Fold and arrange garments properly to maintain presentation and quality.
- Place garments in polybags, cartons, or other required packaging materials.
- Ensure correct tagging, labelling, and carton identification.
- Check packed products for visible defects or damage and report them to the concerned supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the packing area.
- Follow safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Complete packing targets within the required time.
- Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams when required.
- Maintain proper handling and storage of packed goods. Required Skills
- Basic understanding of garment packing procedures.
- Ability to identify sizes, colours, and product details.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to achieve daily production targets.
- Good discipline and time management. Qualification
- Education: No specific qualification required / 8th or 10th standard preferred.
- Experience: Freshers can apply; relevant packing experience will be an advantage. Working Conditions
- Work in a garment manufacturing environment.
- Follow prescribed working hours and company policies.
- May require standing for extended periods.
