Job Advert Private Patient Coordinator Fulwood Hall Hospital, Preston Full Time – 37.5 hours per week Fulwood Hall Hospital was opened as a purpose built facility in 1986. Independent patient satisfaction surveys show that 99% of our patients would recommend the hospital to family and friends and due to careful screening and rigorous infection control processes, the hospital continues to have a 0% MRSA incidence. The hospital has eight private consulting rooms supported by a fully equipped outpatient treatment room, a pre-operative assessment unit for screening and assessing patients prior to surgery as well as modern imaging facilities and a brand new physio and sports therapy department including gymnasium. You will assist the Private Patient Team to grow self-pay and Private Medically Insured admissions to defined targets. To effectively manage consultant relationships to ensure the private patient experience is consistently delivered. This interaction will be across all channels; in person, on the telephone and in writing. To be measured through patient satisfaction, compliments and/or complaints whilst undertaking analysis of private activity in order to maximise revenue generation. What you’ll do:
- Timely provision of accurate Self-Pay patient quotes once listed for surgery.
- Follow up patient quotes where necessary to check if further information is required and encourage patients to have surgery at Fulwood Hall.
- Engage with Consultants on a regular basis, providing support and point of contact for private patient queries.
- Meet and engage with patients throughout their journey.
- Support consultants with Insured patients, providing guidance on set up and management of PMI and PHIN profiles.
- Ensure patient records are maintained and kept up to date.
- Support Business Relationship Manager with marketing activity and external events where required.
- Support SLT with marketing activity and drive targeted marketing to patients.
- Complete competitor analysis to inform decision making and help ensure Fulwood Hall are in line with local competition.
- Assist where required with general administration within the business office, dealing with patient / insurer queries via phone and email. What you’ll bring with you:
- Marketing and or Sales experience
- Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial call to discharge
- Sound Computer skills using the MS Office Suite and Web based reporting
- Confident in engaging with a variety of people particularly in a high end setting
- Excellent communication skills both face to face, over the phone and in writing
