Profession (Job Category): Customer Service & Contact Center Operations Job Schedule: Full time Remote: No Job Description: The Opportunity We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Facility Management Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies for facility services across our international portfolio of manufacturing sites, offices, warehouses and other operational facilities. You will work closely with Real Estate, Facility Management, HSE, Finance, Legal and global/regional procurement teams to optimize service delivery models, strengthen supplier performance, protect operational continuity and deliver sustainable value. You will be successful in this position if you combine deep Facility and Integrated Management knowledge with strategic sourcing expertise, strong commercial judgment, technical curiosity and the ability to influence stakeholders across countries, functions and organizational levels. How You'll Make an Impact:
- Develop and implement the global category strategy for both hard and soft FM categories.
- Lead sourcing and procurement for Integrated Facility Management (IFM) services, driving cost efficiencies and supplier relationships
- Analyze spend, demand, supplier markets, cost drivers, risks and emerging FM/IFM technologies.
- Lead complex, multi-country sourcing initiatives from market engagement and tendering through negotiation, contracting, transition and implementation.
- Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation, specification standardization and total cost of ownership improvements.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships through performance scorecards, quarterly business reviews, improvement plans and executive governance.
- Establish commercial models, scopes of work, pricing mechanisms, KPIs, SLAs and continuous-improvement commitments.
- Ensure suppliers meet service quality, operational resilience, HSE, regulatory, sustainability and contractual requirements.
- Promote innovation through AI, IoT, Robotics and CAFM, CMMS, predictive maintenance, automation, energy management and performance analytics.
- Present category strategies, sourcing recommendations, risks and results to senior stakeholders.
- Leverage the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process, implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy ensuring that the awarded suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
- Ensure HSE, regulatory, and quality compliance in all supplier relationships Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Facility Management, Real Estate, Finance or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, category management or supplier management.
- Proven experience managing complex facility service categories across multiple countries or sites.
- Strong understanding of hard and soft FM services, commercial models and supplier delivery structures.
- Demonstrated success in global category strategy, competitive tendering, contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
- Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, energy or similarly complex environment.
- Strong commercial, analytical, project management and stakeholder leadership skills.
- Ability to influence across functions, countries and organizational levels within a matrix environment.

- Italy: starting from 56,000 gross annual salary
