The role Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking Mobile Phlebotomists in Akron to join our growing Home Draw team where your professional contributions truly matter while providing mobile phlebotomy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. What your day looks like

• Travel to patient homes across Akron, OH
• Provide courtesy call to patient prior to scheduled appointment confirming your ETA
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with AHA’s Care At Home team when unable to successfully complete assignment(s) What you bring
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and minimum age 21
• Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
• Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be successfully completed prior to working on our Home Draw team!
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
