Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Direct Hire Authority for Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range Test Facilities Base. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Duties
- You will ensure proper items and quantities are ordered and monitor the status of outstanding orders.
- You will review requisitions, supporting documents, and reference material to determine proper priorities and the actions required to best obtain the material expeditiously.
- You will identify and research program errors/discrepancies.
- You will recommend actions and compliance in support of program goals and objectives, organizational structure, and internal operating instructions.
- You will conduct validations of all outstanding requisitions.
- You will conduct maintenance of program data and update status files. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting logistical and supply support. Examples of specialized experience should include some or all the following: 1) Knowledge of supply policies and procedures related to material management; 2) Ability to review data using automated systems and reports; 3) Ability to ensure the management and handling of material complies with current procedures, directives, and guidelines; 4) Ability to apply and interpret established manufacturing terminology, data, standards, policies, and instructions to ensure timely delivery of material to customers. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education There is no substitute of education for experience for this series at this grade level.
