Regional Safety Officer

Designation Regional Safety Officer Reporting to Chief Safety Officer Qualifications Bachelor/Master Degree (IOSH Certification is added advantages) Experience 4-5 years of work experience in Education/Hospitality/Service/Retail Industry. General Description We are looking for a responsible Regional Safety Officer to facilitate compliance with the organizational health and safety guidelines. The person will provide advice on measures to minimize hazards or unhealthy situations & will also be on a constant lookout for violations. Main Responsibilities ü Implementation of Health and Safety Policies across Region. ü Audit/Risk assessment/Inspection of all the Centres with respect to infrastructure safety/electrical safety in the Region as per schedule ü Audit & Risk assessment for newer centre prior to reopening/launch in the region ü Ensure/coordinate various Trainings conducted in the region as per schedule – Fire drill & evacuation, Covid safety, first aid, POCSO etc. ü Ensure compliance documents in place as required ü Transport & Food Safety through regular Audits and action in place timely ü Induction to new staff in the Region on Health & Safety ü Ensure Covid Safety protocols implemented across the Region ü Liasoning with Corporate SPOCs for Safety measures/protocols implementation at Corporate Centres ü Investigate incident, near miss incident, accident

• analyse route cause of the same & take preventive measures to stop reoccurrence Individual Responsibilities ü Is calm and composed at all times and a good team player ü Demonstrates professional behaviour while interacting with team members ü Acting as a guide to colleagues in times of doubt and helping them take appropriate decisions and actions Additional Skills Detail Oriented Good analytical & communication skills Give importance to Safety & Precautionary measures Willingness to travel to centres across the Region
