This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer, Exposure Management based in United States . This is a senior backend engineering role providing technical leadership for the evolution of an attack surface management product into a next-generation Exposure Management platform. You will own technical direction across services while helping bridge complex legacy systems with a modern platform. The role combines hands-on backend development, distributed systems architecture, migration leadership, and cross-team technical alignment. You will build and scale real-time streaming services that leverage large datasets to help customers identify and reduce security exposures. You will also mentor engineers, strengthen engineering standards, and guide architectural decisions across the team. The environment values pragmatic problem solving, technical curiosity, iterative execution, and responsible use of AI and LLM technologies.
